Bart gave a nervous grin to the other girls as he followed Black Bat away from their only way home. He didn't have a custom fitted kevlar/nomex uniform to protect him, but he was dressed in black. He was doing his best to watch Cass, shadow her, keep behind her and where he could react.
This seemed to him like a practical exam in whether or not he could fight without his powers. At least he trusted he would get out of here in one piece.
