"I learned from the best," Cass replied, tugging Steph's hand onto her shoulder before she let go to touch her cheek softly. Cass waited patiently for her to look at her, her jaw and lips clenched together in tight resolve. "I... I want you to not feel like you have to be alone in this. It is your fear, your nightmare but you do not have to face it alone. Not when I can help, not when others can."
Cass shook her head. She had never thought of her as a victim or someone weak, lacking skill and strength compared to her but not weak in resolve or spirit. She was Batgirl, she wasn't a victim.
