She closes her eyes and tips her head up into the bitter London winter wind. Her hair lifts and twists in the breeze.

It doesn't have to be this way between them. One half-step away from tense with this patina of hurt glimmering on everything. And maybe it's righteous, certainly it's earned. But Stephanie doesn't like feeling this way. And so...she won't. Won't let the Batman get to her.
